The Urban Happiness Movement

In the 90ies Colombian cities used to top the list of the most dangerous
in the world. Today they rank among the safest metropolises in Latin America.
How was such a remarkable feat achieved?

The film “The Urban Happiness Movement” examines Colombian cities that have undergone an exceptional change in a short time: primarily Bogotá and Medellín.

Thanks to committed like-minded people, we produced the film “Curitiba – it’s possible” in 2008.  The positive reactions and reviews motivated us to carry on with the search for more beneficial examples, innovative ideas, and charismatic personalities.

For us, “The Urban Happiness Movement” is a legitimate follow-up project that should be equally as inspiring, elucidating, and entertaining.

We are looking for sponsoring and support for the postproduction process.
